Thank you to all the Judges, Students, Teachers, dedicated Volunteers and Sponsoring Organizations who created the VIRTUAL 2020 Synopsys Championship on March 11–12, 2020.
W hen we took on this venture we knew that there would be technological challenges that some students and judges would not be able to overcome and we would not be able to handle in the time we had available. We expected that some participants would have trouble shining through in ways that can happen in person. We were thrilled at the numbers of you that met the challenge! The judges were impressed and very complimentary! We thank all of the students for taking this on in such a short period of time. As industry would say, you pivoted on short notice in an exceptional manner! Congratulations to each and every one of you!

In 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, both the California Science & Engineering Fair and the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair were cancelled. Nonetheless, winners lists below indicate which students qualified to compete in those events.
