2017 California State Science Fair Award Winners

Winners of the 2017 California State Science Fair in Los Angeles, CA were announced on May 2nd. One hundred and one Synopsys Championship projects were eligible for competition. The results are posted below. Congratulations to our outstanding Santa Clara County students!

48 students from the Synopsys Championship received category awards and 13 students received Special/Recognition Awards. The Senior Division California State Project of the Year Award was won by Vivek Kamarshi from Monta Vista High School, Cupertino. Vivek Kamarshi and Rohan Mehrotra, of Lynbrook High School, San Jose, each won an all-expense-paid trip to the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair.
